How do I reach the city from Station Pier and Outer Harbor?
From Melbourne’s Station Pier a light-rail tram runs to the city center in about twenty minutes. From Adelaide’s Outer Harbor terminal a suburban train line heads into the city, a ride of around forty minutes.
Where can I see Australian wildlife in the southern ports?
Kangaroo Island is the standout, with sea lions at Seal Bay and kangaroos in open country. From Hobart, Bruny Island and wildlife sanctuaries are popular, and from Fremantle the ferry to Rottnest Island leads to the small marsupials called quokkas.
